Signing Up on the Customer Hub Log In/Sign Up Page

When a new user visits the customer hub domain without Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled, they are required to sign up for an account. This log in/sign up page is hosted by the primary Identity Provider (IdP).

PeakCommerce utilizes Auth0 as its primary IdP if another IdP is not integrated.

Some customers choose to enable sign-ups for their customers or partners with existing Zuora Accounts directly on the PeakCommerce portal sign-up page. To sign up, users typically need to provide an email, Zuora Account Number, password, and sometimes first and last name.

Note: This process differs from signing up in e-commerce.

A recent feature in the PeakCommerce platform enables account number validation on the sign-up page. If an incorrect Zuora account number is entered, an error message will inform the user that their information could not be validated. Additionally, any spaces before or after the account number are automatically removed upon submission. Even if a lowercase 'a' is used at the beginning of the account number, it will still be validated. This ensures that new sign-ups either successfully create an account in Auth0 AND PeakCommerce, or an error is displayed, prompting the customer to try again.

Logging in on the Portal Log In/Sign Up Page

Existing users accessing the portal domain without Single Sign-On (SSO) must log in to access their accounts. This portal log in/sign up page is also hosted by the primary Identity Provider (IdP).

PeakCommerce's primary IdP remains Auth0 unless another IdP is integrated.

This process utilizes the same page as the sign-up process, but is for users who have already signed up for an account, either through the sign-up page or via e-commerce. A sample log-in page is provided below.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

With Single Sign-On (SSO) configured, users can seamlessly access the PeakCommerce self-service portal from within their company's website or product. Clicking a designated button or link redirects them directly to the portal, where they are automatically logged in without encountering a log-in page.

Salesforce Integration

Sales representatives or Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) who operate within Salesforce can leverage a custom link or button located on Customer Accounts and Billing Account Details in Salesforce. Clicking this link or button launches them into their own Account Executive experience within the portal, enabling them to manage customers for Peak and Zuora accounts efficiently.
