Within the PeakCommerce platform, workflows consist of a series of predefined tasks executed through predetermined logic. These workflows streamline operations, enhancing efficiency and minimizing errors by automating repetitive manual tasks. Typically, workflows align with subscriber journeys.

To access Workflows, go to WorkFlow & Actions > Workflows.

Consider a scenario where a workflow is designed to automate three tasks upon canceling a subscription:

1. Cancel Subscription

2. Convert Negative Invoice

3. Apply Credit Balance

PeakCommerce generally recommends creating workflows in the system of record if the solution has a workflow module. For example, both Zuora and Salesforce have workflows that can be created and automated. Utilizing workflows in the system of record will usually provide the most flexibility and extensibility.
